Having Information & Hope Is Important During Traumatic Events

As a trauma expert, I believe that trying to be prepared for traumatic events can be really helpful if these events occur. A fire extinguisher is useful for a small, starting stove fire or things like that. It’s always smart to call for help as well. Reading directions and making sure people all around know how to work it may leave us with hope for what to do if something happens.

Having information and hope is important during traumatic events. In a situation where violence is occurring during a dinner event, after the vulnerable are taken away to safety, it is so very very important that those remaining are given updates on the situation and what they should do!
