The Tyrannical Process

Ouch My Trauma Hurts (OMTH)

Tyrannical leaders insist that any journalist, art expert, citizen, who disagrees is disrespectful and even dangerous. The leader feels entitled to be powerful, right, and to attack if not adored and agreed with.
Coercion and obedience are common.
In the tyrannical process, the emotional abuse includes there being one person who defines reality and anyone who disagrees receives labels that would knock your socks off-like treasonous, disloyal against their country, threatening others’ survival, and/or hurting their country.
Tyranny can involve violence toward groups: immigrants, religious groups, minorities. And, in families, there may be one child scapegoated for some reason, punished more harshly or frequently. When family or society witness this extreme violence, it can be very traumatic, even promoting guilt and helplessness.

Here’s Dr Marti believing in you and seeing you as smart and capable, even if these circumstances may surround you.
